It's a challenge for the Australian squad to break new ground.

The greatest achievements have long been mastered.

This is the team that has won seven Cricket World Cups, along with an additional six T20 titles, and once went over three years unbeaten in 50-over cricket.

The remaining milestones, the ones sought by the achievement hunters, are all that remain for a side that has achieved everything.

The fact it required as late as Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase above 300, reclaiming their record for the biggest in the women's 50-over format, is, in truth, a tribute to the pitchers that have represented Australia over the last half-century.

It's difficult for their batsmen to hold a record if not provided the possibility.

What's clear is this hundred was much more difficult to predict.

"If you've been watching me in training, it was a frustrating experience because it seemed I lacked timing completely," said Healy.

She was tormented by India's promising player Kranti Gaud in last month's ODI series, dismissed by the 22-year-old seamer in all three matches, but on this occasion it simply offered Healy's inspiration.

A single was taken off Gaud's first delivery and after that Healy was on her way.

"A chance to go out there and engage in competition with her and simply enjoy myself in that regard, somewhat inspired me," commented Healy.

She achieved fifty in 35 balls - her fastest at the global tournament - and her hundred in 84 balls as she flogged anything short, scoring 21 fours and three sixes.

Once she was dismissed the team needed 66 more at a run-a-ball - a manageable total now requiring a leisurely stroll.

"Chasing 330 runs is unfamiliar ground so I'm pleased we have the confidence to do that now," added Healy.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to repeat it but, if necessary, we believe we can achieve it."

These statements will be the ultimate thing competing nations at this championship should hear.

During the last week a belief they will win from any position has only strengthened - this triumph succeeding victory over Pakistan by 107 runs despite sitting at 76-7 at a certain moment.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before a match against longtime competitors England in Indore in ten days, by which point a last-four spot may likely be confirmed.

It was at that stage they exited the prior year's T20 World Cup in an unexpected loss by South Africa - a game Healy couldn't play because of damaged tissue in her foot as she guided Australia for the first time at a major tournament.

So great is her will, she subsequently stated she wanted to have participated through the pain.
